Jeff owned and operated Ground Hound Detection Services, Inc. – a Florida based underground utility locating company. After running it for 24 years he sold in 2017. With a total of 33 years in the industry, Jeff has continued to remain active by establishing relationships throughout the country and introducing potential sellers to potential buyers. In addition, Jeff has been representing Impulse Radar to provide equipment solutions for a variety of applications.
Having experienced the sale process as an owner, Jeff now helps other business owners navigate the waters of their potential sale. Whether helping you manage your business as it goes through the process, or preparing for life post-transaction, Jeff has both direct experience and a wealth of knowledge that comes from working with other business owners.
Jim owns a transaction advisory and corporate finance consulting practice, with 30 years' experience in the corporate finance industry. He focuses on the technical side of the transaction. From day one negotiations to post-closing activities, Jim fills the role as the “deal-CFO” for our Clients.
This includes structuring every aspect of the deal, managing the due diligence process and protecting against “value erosion.” His CFO training provides Clients with invaluable guidance on the most advantageous financial positioning of their Company. Jim is also the point of contact with the private equity groups behind the potential buyers. These relationships allow for candid conversations and quicker decisions by both sides.
Jim has quarterbacked four sales in the underground locate space, and a total of 15 multi-million dollar transactions. As part of his consulting practice, Jim has provided CFO-related services to over 20 companies.
